Crystal Palace boss Warnock hoping for new striker

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is hopeful of luring a new striker to the club in the January transfer window.

The Eagles boss may lose young forward Feddie Sears to West Ham in January as the Premier League club may call him back from a spell at Selhurst Park and Warnock hopes to replace him if that happens.

"I don't think it's 100 per cent that no-one will be coming in during the transfer window," he told the Croydon Advertiser.

"I'm still looking around for another striker. If I get a few of the fringe players out on loan then I think I can talk Simon Jordan into it.

"It's pretty clear that we could do with someone who can find the net on a regular basis."
