Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is confident goals are just around the corner for Emmanuel Adebayor

Adebayor made his first Premier League start in 15 months as Palace drew 1-1 with Swansea on Saturday and Pardew is confident the 31-year-old will start scoring.

“I could not be more pleased with his application and the way he has conducted himself in the time he has been here," said Pardew after Palace picked up their first point in six games.

“In the second half of the season, and particularly in three games' time, we are going to see the best of him."
