Crystal Palace boss Pardew faces squad revolt over Jedinak treatment

Crystal Palace players are revolting against manager Alan Pardew over the treatment of Mile Jedinak.

The Times says Pardew is facing growing unhappiness from some Selhurst Park stars regarding his decision to strip the Australian international of the captaincy.

The role has now been given to Scott Dann by the ex-Newcastle chief.

Australia's national team boss, Ange Postecoglou, admits a move to Aston Villa could be good for Jedinak.

He told ESPN: "Players are always happier when they're settled rather than a little bit of indecision or conjecture about their futures.

"If it does come to fruition and he moves to Villa ... he'll be in a good space mentally."
