Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is confident that Pep Guardiola will be a huge success at Manchester City.
The transfer deadline day in England was dominated with the announcement that Guardiola will be taking over the reins at City next season and it has certainly created quite a buzz among the Premier League managers.
Eagles boss Pardew had his say regarding Guardiola's arrival and has stated that the Spaniard can be a success at the Etihad Stadium as he is heading to a club with a very good infrastructure.
Pardew said: "He has had a fantastic record and is going into another big, big club with huge resources, so he isn't going to be a failure.
"He will be successful again. He has the character and personality to carry the club.
"In this country, the football is different style. He is going to have to adapt. We will see how well he adapts.
"He has to beat the Palace twice yet!"
