Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is surprised by Everton's battle to find a new manager.
Palace meet fellow strugglers Everton this weekend.
Hodgson said, "I am a little bit surprised Everton are struggling to find someone because it's such a big club.
"I'm sure there are lots and lots of people who want to take the job, but maybe it does show the difficulty owners have these days of finding the right man for the job.
"I'm pretty certain the fact they've not appointed anyone yet is not because they haven't got anyone to choose from, it's because they haven't found the candidate that's ideal for the club.
"I haven't followed it, I haven't involved myself in it, because I have enough to involve myself in, quite frankly, on a day-to-day basis with Crystal Palace.
"That's enough for me. I don't need to get involved or have opinions; I leave that to the people working at those clubs."
