Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek deserves the same recognition as Wilfried Zaha.
Chelsea owned midfielder Loftus-Cheek, 22, could return to the England squad ahead of the summer's World Cup, but national team manager Gareth Southgate has not discussed him with former Three Lions boss Hodgson.
Asked if Loftus-Cheek is capable of having the same impact as Zaha, the 70-year-old Palace boss said: "Of course he is.
"You don't get into the England set-up as he did on the back of his performances unless you have got some exceptional qualities."
