Crystal Palace boss Hodgson happy to count on Loftus-Cheek again

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is pleased to count on Ruben Loftus-Cheek again.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder has been cleared to start Saturday's crucial Premier League fixture at Huddersfield along with the fit-again Mamadou Sakho and Yohan Cabaye.

Hodgson said: "If Loftus-Cheek is going to be fit between now and and the end of the season, that is an enormous boost for us.

"Wilf is the one everyone is focused on and maybe he has passed a little bit under the radar, as has Mamadou Sakho. But we are talking here about three quality players - with Yohan Cabaye four quality players - players who really are capable of playing in every Premier League team and would interest almost every Premier League team.

"We have really had four players of that nature who can make such a vast difference to the quality of our play unavailable and now they are back again. So it is up to them to hopefully get back to what they were doing as quickly as possible.

"There was a period of time when we managed to get those results and pull ourselves away from the relegation zone and we were actually playing some quite good football, but all of these guys were involved, of course."
