Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is delighted with the impact made by Alexander Sorloth for his side.
Sorloth started the game against Swansea City in the Carabao Cup Second Round. He grabbed the game winner with a 70th minute goal.
The January signing has taken time to settle into his new environment, but he has now opened his account for the club.
"I thought Alexander was very good," Hodgson said to Sky Sports.
"He worked very hard, got his goal, and his physical statistics were off the charts.
"He has been making steady improvements in the time he has been with us. He got an injury but he works very hard at his game. We are pleased we have that option of a centre-forward of his type, someone like Christian Benteke."
