Neil Warnock has denied reports linking him with the vacant manager's post at Portsmouth. The Crystal Palace manager told the Croydon Guardian: "There is nothing as far as I am aware of and I have had no contact with them.

"I think one of two fans might want me to take it though.

"I was offered the job there before Harry Redknapp took it, but I stayed on at Sheffield United and got them promoted so it might just be a good sign."
