Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer refused to condemn Luka Milivojevic after defeat at Liverpool.

Liverpool's winner came from a blunder by holding midfielder Milivojevic who was facing his own goal when a poor touch bounced off Dominic Solanke for Sadio Mane to score.

"I didn't think it was lack of concentration but he was out of control and suddenly the ball is at the feet of Mane," De Boer said.

'We dealt so well with the minutes before so it's even harder to take. Liverpool had to play around us before then. But it is about the points and we are empty handed."
