Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer is confident keeping hold of striker Christian Benteke.

Benteke has been most consistently reported as a possible replacement for Romelu Lukaku at Everton after the striker's switch to Manchester United whilst Chelsea have also monitored the Palace striker.

"He's happy here and we really want him to stay," said Eagles boss De Boer.

"He made a great impact last season, especially in the second half of the season, and he is crucial to us and we don't want to sell him."
