Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer is hopeful that his side's Carabao Cup win over Ipswich Town can help kick-start their league season.
The Eagles, who have lost their opening two fixtures, registered their first win of the season as they defeated Ipswich Town 2-1 in the second round of the cup competition.
Following the game, the Dutch manager said: "You're always waiting for that moment, and I'm really pleased for the team and for the fans - for everybody who loves Crystal Palace that finally we scored a goal.
"Winning gives you confidence, of course. It's always nice to win, even of course though maybe Saturday (at home to Swansea) is more important to win after our two losses.
"If you analyse the first half, we couldn't really get the pressure on them and that's why we changed the system and from there on we had total control and created our chances."
