Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer has played down moving for PSV Eindhoven striker Luuk de Jong.

De Jong has been linked with Palace and Hannover this week.

However, De Boer told Ziggo Sports: "He's pretty expensive and not exactly what we are looking for."

PSV coach Phillip Cocu admits De Jong could be on the move this month.

He said: "Luuk is still here, but if there is an option for him that is interesting then I can imagine that he is open to it. And then we will also listen as a club and think about it."
