Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is stepping up his January market plans.
The Daily Mail says Palace have enquired about Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep after his move to Wolfsburg hit a hitch.
The 24-year-old France international is out of contract in the summer.
Sam Allardyce also remains keen on Sunderland left-back Patrick Van Aanholt and has discussed West Ham defender James Collins.
Meanwhile, Palace winger Bakary Sako has turned down a move to Birmingham City.
