Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew feels the transfer window should be closed before the season begins.
They are looking for their first points of the Premier League campaign today and the emergence of Spurs' interest in Wilfried Zaha gives the manager a reason to call for the transfer window to be closed before the action starts.
"The agents have been on a kind of frenzy in this window, trying to get involved with players who are not even theirs," Pardew said. "It's something the FA or Premier League should look at.
"All Premier League managers are frustrated the window is still open when we're playing games. It's just not right. The sooner it closes before we kick a ball, the better."
