Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha 'buzzing' after 2-goal performance

Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha scored twice for victory over Brighton.

Zaha admits he was delighted with his performance for the 3-2 win.

He said: “It was end to end at times. We literally had to go back to basics and stay in shape in the second half. It was just too open. Obviously we could score, but they could as well. We just had to make sure everything was tight."

Recent good team performances have not been reflected in points secured, something Zaha has been intent on addressing.

“We've played really well for so many weeks, but we don't end up getting anything from it. So getting a win today was massive for us."

With just four games left for Hodgson's men, the six point gap from the zone could be reduced if Southampton win their game in hand on Thursday's trip to Leicester City. But Zaha remains confident that Palace can beat the drop.

“If we play the same way we did today, I'm sure we'll win more games than we lose. I'm just buzzing that we managed to get the win."
