Brazilian club Cruzeiro want to bring a team to Major League Soccer and base them in Atlanta.
The Minas Gerais outfit first want to build a $30million youth soccer complex in Alpharetta, Georgia before possibly moving a team into North America's top domestic league.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reported that Cruzeiro officials met with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and some development gurus to discuss its proposed facility which Brazilian investors are keen to get off the ground.
Following the potential development of a youth academy, the two-time Brazil Campeonato champions will seek to integrate into the MLS but that is a long way down the track by all reports.
