Cruzeiro fullback Gilberto admits regrets over his time at Tottenham.
The experienced Brazilian said: "I think one of the factors that hurt me was the lack of adaptation to English football.
"Perhaps I went to Tottenham in not so good physical condition and wasn't able to play.
"I believe I could have played more for Tottenham. But thankfully I have found myself at Cruzeiro, where I am happy."

The signing u were thinkin of was the ledgendary footballing misfit REBROV!!!!
Thankfully he has found a new home - one as far away from the Lane as possible. Worst signing ever? Dunno. Certainly in the top ten. On second thoughts make that top three, and I couldn´t name the other two....
Gilberto must be the only Brazilian who doesn't know about the beautiful game, he was possibly the worst signing Spurs have ever made, and we have made a few over the years. Couldn't believe there was another team stupid enough to sign him, but thank goodness there was.
