Cruzeiro defender Jonathan Cicero wants a move to Spain this year.
Cicero has again spoken of Real Madrid's interest, which he revealed before Christmas, and also confirmed an approach from Atletico.
He said: "I can confirm that yes, there was contact from Real Madrid for me to join the Spanish team. Even Atletico directors contacted the president of Cruzeiro, but I do not know what went wrong as the negotiations ended up falling through.
"But perhaps something else could happen in June ..."
Cicero added: "Right now, for Brazil the right-back position is very well covered with Dani Alves and Maicon, but if I played for Real Madrid, a team whose games are shown all over the world, I would likely be called by Dunga.
"With Cruzeiro, it is much more difficult."
