Julio Cruz has signed a new deal with Inter Milan until 2009.

"I am delighted to have renewed my contract," Cruz told the Inter Channel.

"I only signed today, but we agreed on a deal a long time ago and I have never had any problems with it. I'm in my fifth season here and it feels like home to me.

"The plan is to continue doing what I always do - give my best in every training session and give my all in games for the club and everyone who has had faith in me."
