"I am above all pleased that we won, as we needed this result to secure qualification," the Argentine striker said. "I think we played alright in the first half, but after the break managed to express ourselves the way we wanted to.
"The Coach told us before the game that we should not let Fenerbahce set the tempo. In fact as soon as we changed the rhythm, they started to struggle, but they are a good side and that is reflected in their position in the Champions League table."
Now Inter are certain of a place in the next round as group winners, they can focus on the Scudetto race.
