Dutch legend Johan Cruyff isn't interested in the Liverpool technical director's job.

Cruyff has been linked with the post following the sacking of Damien Comolli.

But he told De Telegraaf: "I see my name is being mentioned in connection with Liverpool.

"I don't know where that has come from, because I have not heard anything from them. There has been no contact whatsoever.

"If you just read speculation like this, without any substance to it, there is no point taking it seriously. It is just talk."
