Johan Cruyff has defended underfire Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
After just one point from the opening two games of the Liga season, there is already speculation about the coach's position.
But Barca hero Cruyff, in his column for El Periodico de Catalunya, declared Saturday's performance against Racing Santander as "the best game in many seasons".
On Guardiola's decision to leave Lionel Messi and Bojan Krkic out of his starting XI, the Dutchman was adamant: "The message here from Guardiola is that no player is better than anyother. Anyone who wants to rely on reputation is going to be disappointed.
"That's how I see it and I think it's the right way to work."
