Cruise ship tycoon Micky Arison is eyeing off a takeover of Aston Villa.
The 64-year-old billionaire has emerged as the latest name in the frame to take over from Randy Lerner after selling a significant amount of shares in Carnival Corporation in recent months, reports the Telegraph.
When Jennifer de la Cruz, Arison's chief spokesperson, was asked about any potential interest in buying Villa, she replied: "As a general rule, we do not comment on such rumors."
