Crouch wants to play out career at Portsmouth

Peter Crouch wants to play out his career at Portsmouth.

"I feel at home in this part of the world and I feel settled here," Crouch told the club's official website. "Hopefully I can stay here for the remainder of my four-year contract and then beyond that. I can see myself ending my career here."

Crouch decided there was only one club he would leave Anfield to join, and with his first spell at Fratton Park lasting less than a year, he is adamant that he can achieve all of his ambitions with Harry Redknapp's side.

"This is a side moving forward and I think we can achieve everything I want to achieve," he said.

"The manager's strengthened the side and used his money wisely," Crouch added. "The side's a lot better than the last time I was here. This is a club on the up and that is why I joined."
