Stoke City striker Peter Crouch is hoping for more playing time with the Potters next season.
The former England international, who made only 11 league appearances for the Potters last season, has attracted interest from Championship club Newcastle United.
Crouch shares a good relationship with Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez having played three seasons under him at Liverpool.
The lanky striker, who scored 42 goals in 135 games during his time with the Reds, is eager to become more of a frequent figure under Mark Hughes.
He said: "This will be my sixth season here and I love it.
"I don't want to move anywhere, but it was frustrating last season and I found it very difficult just watching on the sidelines.
"I didn't start as many games as I would have liked, but that's life.
"And, when you are at a club that's established in the Premier League's top-10 with aspirations for Europe, there are going to be games as a 35-year-old that you don't play.
"But, of course, I want to be playing a bit more than I was last year."
