Peter Crouch insists Tottenham deserved their Champions League success against AC Milan.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had originally put Spurs on attack alert.
But they had to go to Plan B as the fluid Italians stroked the ball around, forced key saves out of Heurelho Gomes and gave the Londoners few chances to add to the 14 goals scored in their previous four home Euro ties.
Crouch, whose goal in Milan got Spurs home, said: "We had to dig in but I think we deserved it over the two legs."
