Crouch shrugs off Liverpool exit rumours

Liverpool striker Peter Crouch claims he in unconcerned by fresh speculation linking him with a summer departure from Anfield.

The England striker has started just nine Premier League games during another frustrating campaign on Merseyside and a series of reports have linked him with moves to Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Manchester City.

But Crouch, who joined the Reds in a £7million deal from Southampton in 2005, insists he is not thinking about moving on.

The rangy striker has scored 41 times in 132 appearances for the Anfield club.

"I know the summer is going to bring speculation about my future," he said.

"It is something we always have to live with in this game, unfortunately.

"And when a player is not playing as often as he would like, then people will always say these things.

"I am just going to ignore it and concentrate on my football like I always have with this stuff in the past."
