Tottenham striker Peter Crouch says they go into their clash with Arsenal full of confidence.
The next challenge for Tottenham is a North London derby at Emirates Stadium on Saturday and Crouch is in confident mood.
He does not believe much should be read into Spurs' 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Gunners in the Carling Cup earlier in the season, insisting the gap between the fierce rivals has narrowed.
"We are looking forward to the game at Arsenal. We are not there yet, but we are certainly a lot closer to them than we have been for a long time," said Crouch.
"They are a top-quality side with a lot of young players. We changed our side around in the Carling Cup when Arsenal won 4-1 but they were fantastic.
"We know that they are a great side but I believe that on our day we can beat anyone.
"If you really want to have a proper impact on the league you have to go to places like Arsenal and pick up points. We have a lot of talent to do that."
