Crouch performance pleases Stoke boss Pulis
Today’s showing by Peter Crouch has been praised by Stoke City manager Tony Pulis.
The England striker scored two first-half goals as the Potters defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park and his performance, along with the contribution from defender Jonathan Woodgate, was not lost on the Stoke boss.
"They are top, top players. Their attitude towards the rest of the players and group has been fantastic.
"I think (Crouch's) unplayable at times. If you stick the right quality into him he'll score goals.
"He's as fit as a flea. He's played a full game against Wigan. He's come here and played a full game. Right at the end he's defending in our box.
"He's brilliant. I'm really, really delighted for him. He doesn't carry any weight. He always wants to do well.""Crouch has been fantastic," said Pulis. "I thought him and Woodgate were very, very good today. They've got great quality.
