Crouch open to Stoke exit as veteran seeks more game time

Peter Crouch has revealed that he is open to an exit from Stoke City at the end of the season.

Crouch has struggled for regular minutes on the pitch for Stoke this term and having been awarded only two Premier League starts; the 35-year-old has clearly been left frustrated.

Now Crouch has gone on to speak regarding his future at Stoke and has revealed that he will be looking to leave the Britannia Stadium in the summer in search of more game time.

The English striker said: "I make no bones about it, it has been a frustrating season for me and I've not been involved anywhere near as much as I would have liked.

"What's frustrating is that I still feel the same as I did four or five years ago, so it has been frustrating that I have not been given the opportunities.

"I still feel like I've got plenty to offer and I know I'm probably not going to start 38 Premier League games, but I do need to play more than I have been."
