Crouch to miss Stoke's Europa League opener

Stoke City will be without summer signing Peter Crouch for tomorrow night's opening Europa League group stage match.

The Potters are away at Dynamo Kiev in Group E but Crouch will not make the trip to Ukraine despite playing a full match on debut against former club Liverpool on the weekend.

Crouch did not train yesterday and will join Matthew Etherington, Rory Delap and Marc Wilson on the sidelines for the first clash of the European season proper.
