Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch will move to Tottenham to become one of the club's top earners.
The Daily Mail says Crouch is due to have a medical and if successful he could join his new team-mates when they fly out to China for the Asia Cup as part of their pre-season preparation.
It is believed Crouch has been offered a five-year deal at £70,000 a week, putting him on a par with the club's top earners - Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate and Robbie Keane.
Spurs have also managed to shave a cool £3 million offer Pompey's initial £12 million asking price.
