Crouch implores Stoke fans to get behind Pulis

Peter Crouch hopes Stoke City supporters do not become dismayed with manager Tony Pulis.

The Potters have won just two of their past 15 outings and have scored just 27 goals in 30 matches leading some fans to criticise the boss.

But Crouch puts it down to a simple dip in form which will soon be improved as the Britannia Stadium club look to better their current lay on the table of 11th.

"What the gaffer has achieved over nearly seven years, first and foremost in getting the club up and then staying in the Premier League for so long, is immense," the 32-year old told the Sunday Mirror.

"We are going through a sticky spell at the moment, but we have had that before and always come through it, we will again.

"I would call it a blip, and I think it is important to know the difference between that and a real problem."
