Peter Crouch admits Tuesday night's recall has him reconsidering his future at Liverpool.

The England striker said: "At the minute it's not about me being unhappy. I have to pull together and be part of a team that has a chance of getting to a European final.

"I am one of those players who, if they're down, won't show it. I still work hard and hopefully when I'm given my chance I will show what I can do.

"The manager has played me in a big game and I've got to take confidence from that.

"It's nice to know I am in his thoughts and it was great to be out there for such a fantastic occasion."
