Crouch arrival will bring best out of Jones - Stoke's Pulis

The arrival of Peter Crouch to Stoke City will help Kenwyne Jones find his best form according to manager Tony Pulis.

Jones has missed the past three matches with a hamstring injury but Pulis is confident that when he returns to fitness, he and former Tottenham man Crouch can hit it off and push each other for first team spots.

"Kenwyne had been looking sharp again this season before his injury," Pulis told the Sentinel. "And us bringing in Peter Crouch will improve him.

"Peter is a top player and Kenwyne will learn from him. But Kenwyne is also a great player and I have great respect for him.

"On his day he is unplayable and as good as anything in the Premier League.

"The competition will bring the best out of him."
