Crotone president Raffaele Vrenna has continued to talk up the chances of landing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
The promoted minnows are keen on keeping Balotelli in Italy, despite a disappointing loan with AC Milan.
Vrenna expanded on his plans to sign Balotelli speaking with TMW Radio: "A few days ago I was asked a question about a player who has to be recovered: I think Balotelli in Crotone could be revived.
"He has not expressed his value and has a heritage of Italian football.
"We would be willing to even give him the captain's armband. I'm certain that he would also score 25 goals."
