Middlesbrough assistant boss Malcolm Crosby has rubbished reports he's leaving the Teessiders.

He has missed Boro's last two games while he recovers from a hip operation and reckons the media men have put two and two together and got five.

Crosby told the Evening Gazette: "It's disappointing, especially as I know the journalists involved. All they had to do to get their facts right was to pick up the phone and ring me.

"At the end of the day it doesn't really bother me because I know it's not true. I'll be back at Arsenal on Sunday."
