Departing Middlesbrough assistant manager Malcolm Crosby has hit out at boss Gareth Southgate after being axed.

Boro's No 2 has gone in a reshuffle following relegation.

Crosby, 54, Southgate's deputy for the last three years, said: "I am very disappointed.

"He has decided to make changes at the club and, unfortunately, I am a part of those changes."
