Cropper finally given clearance to join Ipswich Town

American goalkeeper Cody Cropper has finally been given permission to join English Championship club Ipswich Town.

The 17-year old goalkeeper has been granted his International Transfer Certificate after signing with the club in May and all the paperwork has been done allowing him to officially become an Ipswich player.

"When I heard my ITC finally cleared I couldn't stop smiling," said Cropper. "But getting on the team is the easy part. This is when all the hard work starts."

Cropper has signed a two-year deal with the Tractor Boys, the first year being a scholarship deal and the second being a pro contract.
