Cropper finally given clearance to join Ipswich Town
American goalkeeper Cody Cropper has finally been given permission to join English Championship club Ipswich Town.
The 17-year old goalkeeper has been granted his International Transfer Certificate after signing with the club in May and all the paperwork has been done allowing him to officially become an Ipswich player.
“When I heard my ITC finally cleared I couldn’t stop smiling,” said Cropper. “But getting on the team is the easy part. This is when all the hard work starts.”
Cropper has signed a two-year deal with the Tractor Boys, the first year being a scholarship deal and the second being a pro contract.

Cody Cropper has waited so long to be able to join an English Pro side. He has been in England for the past 2 years,having trials at varies clubs. A number of clubs wanted to sign him but all ran into a brick wall over Cody's international clearance not forthcoming. Reluctantly they had to let him go. Ipswich Town once they took a look at Cody decided they would hang on to him no matter how long his clearance took. Now that it has been granted They are over the moon and offered Cody a two year Contract. one year academy,then one year pro contract. As you now know Cody is now a IPSWICH TOWN player
