Crooks: Arsenal boss Wenger pulled off Alexis masterstroke

Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks has hailed the form of Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez has been moved into a more advanced role this season, replacing Olivier Giroud as the Gunners' out-and-out striker.

"It has been a masterstroke from Arsene Wenger playing Alexis Sanchez through the centre," Crooks told BBC Sport.

"He is playing like Luis Suarez a few years ago at Liverpool."
