Croatia coach Zlatko Dalić admitted he was glad to see that Raheem Sterling was substituted in a semi-final clash with England.
Marcus Rashford replaced Man City star in 74th minute of the game after Sterling caused a lot of troubles to the Croatian defence.
However, Dalić praised his colleague on the England bench, Gareth Southgate.
"I felt relief after Southgate substituted Sterling because he is very hard to stop," Dalić said. "And I admired Southgate, he showed he's a gentleman, a sportsman, he congratulated all of us individually on the pitch."
