Crisis club Roma face massive player sales

Failure to qualify for the Champions League could lead to massive player sales at Roma.

La Stampa says while Roma coach Luciano Spalletti, who is contracted until 2011, is safe, a raft of big-name players could be sold if they fail to finish in the top four this season.

AC Milan are keen on Roma defensive pair Philippe Mexes and Juan, while midfielder Alberto Aquilani has Inter Milan and Juventus monitoring his drawn out contract talks.

Cicinho, Doni and David Pizarro would also be put up for sale.
