England cricket star Kevin Pietersen has branded Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas a "muppet". Pietersen is a big Chelsea fan and is disappointed with recent results.

Writing on his Twitter site, the England batsman lambasted the Portuguese coach, saying: "Who is the muppet coaching Chelsea??? AVB??? Hmmm!! 25yrs for Ferguson, hopefully not even 6 months for this AVB geezer!!"

While Sir Alex Ferguson celebrates a quarter-century at Manchester United, Villas-Boas's team have lost their last two Premier League games and dropped out of the top three.
