Crewe youngster Callum Saunders happy to keep Liverpool, Everton waiting

Callum Saunders is happy to have signed new terms with Crewe Alexandra.

The young striker is interesting Liverpool and Everton.

But he told The Sentinel: "I am really happy to sign at Crewe because I have been here since I was six and I know that if I am good enough then I will be able to play in the first team.

"The goal was always to play in the first team and now I have got that chance.

"I scored a few goals so there was a bit of interest, but I wanted to stay here.

"I have been here all my life and I know everyone here."

Saunders is the son of former Aston Villa and Liverpool star Dean Saunders.
