Crewe Alexandra coach Steve Holland has dismissed reports of an imminent £1.5 million bid for 14 year-old Max Clayton arriving from Liverpool.

Holland told BBC Radio Stoke: "There's been no official contact, it is all just speculation.

"We've become used to this sort of thing. The time for us to worry would be when big clubs aren't interested."
