Ryan Seager is back with Southampton.

Seager has returned to Southampton after suffering a serious knee injury while on loan at Crewe.

Seager suffered the injury during the 2-2 draw at Rochdale on Tuesday night, shortly after his first professional goal had brought Crewe level in the game.

A statement on Crewe's official website read: "Everyone at Crewe Alexandra would like to thank Ryan for his contributions to the club and wish him well with his recovery."
