Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis was full of praise for Brad Inman after the weekend's win over Crawley Town.
The Alex beat the Red Devils 2-1 at the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Saturday thanks to a fine finish from the Australian-born midfielder in the 80th minute after he replaced Mathias Pogba just seven minutes earlier.
Inman, who has represented Scotland at youth level, was left out of last week's loss to Coventry City but bounced back to score his fourth league goal of the season which allowed the 21st-placed Crewe to join three other teams on 43 points in League One.
"Brad is the kind of player who can make an impact. Leaving him out of the side hurt him but there he was for the winner getting behind the defender," said Davis.
"He has got great pace and we know the kind of things he is capable of. On his day he is unplayable.
"The ball from Byron Moore was a great one and Brad was on it like a flash. It was a great finish."
