Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says he won't rush the development of Callum Saunders.
Saunders is the son of former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Dean Saunders and turned down Premier League offers to sign pro with the Alex.
Davis said: "He's shown some nice signs.
"He has got all the credentials to be a top player and a goalscorer, but has a bit to do, especially physically.
"But if we keep working with him he is going to be a real asset at some point."
